SUBMISSIONS

Note: Please READ DIRECTIONS for submission. We will not consider submissions that do not follow the directions posted below the submission links.

There is no pre-determined theme this semester so please submit freely :) We can't wait to see what you come up with!

POETRY & PROSE

Broadside will not publish more than 3 pieces of work by any one student per journal. Please do not submit more than 5 poems and/or 3 prose pieces. Each submission should have a separate Poetry/Prose Submission Form (see below). Please make sure to revise and edit your work prior to submission in order to increase your chances of being accepted!

Pieces should not exceed 3,500 words. Prose should be double-spaced and can be in the form of fiction, plays, screenplays, and creative non-fiction. Contact Fine Arts Ink. (buwritehouseink@gmail.com) or Bradley's Writing Center (bradleywritingcenter@bradley.edu) for any editing assistance. Do not include your name anywhere in the submitted file, only in the google form. Please fill out a new submission form for each individual piece, and include a title in your submission form.

Accepted writers will be notified by email.

If you can't access the form or have problems submitting your piece, send your submission to broadsidelitmag@gmail.com. Electronic submissions should be sent in .doc or .pdf format.

ART

To submit artwork:

Complete an online submission form and attach a high-quality image (300 dpi or higher) of your art to the submission form. Click "submit."
If you need assistance with taking a high-quality photo of your work, please contact broadsidelitmag@gmail.com OR your friendly Art and Design professors.

If you experience any problems with the online submission:

Complete an online submission form- don’t click “submit"!
Print the completed form.
Attach the printed form to a print version of your submission and bring it to our office, Sisson 329 for judging purposes.
Send an e-mail verification of your drop-off to submissions.broadside@gmail.com

Please include your name on any disk you submit, but not on any print version. Broadside cannot ensure the return of submitted materials so originals CANNOT be submitted.
