ABOUT US

Broadside is Bradley University's literary arts journal. Each year we publish a mini journal in the fall and a full-length journal in the spring, each showcasing written work (poetry, fiction, plays, screenplays, creative non-fiction) and visual artwork (photos, paintings, drawings) created by Bradley students. Broadside journals are free to Bradley students. Any current student may submit work to be considered for publication.

The Broadside organization is run entirely by current Bradley students who love writing and art. Student committees evaluate pieces for publication through an anonymous selection process. Only the Editors-in-Chief know who submits each piece. Broadside sometimes holds Open Mic Nights as well. These events are opportunities for students to share their creative work with each other. Any student may read or perform at these events or sit in the audience and enjoy. Watch for flyers around campus announcing Broadside events and deadlines.

Broadside has a partnership with Fine Arts Ink., Bradley's writer's and artist's workshop organization. Consider submitting work for revisions and feedback before submitting to Broadside!
